From a cat café to in-home care

Gatuari is a nonprofit cooperative in Barcelona focused on feline well-being. For ten years, it ran a cat café in the city to give greater visibility and a chance at adoption to cats that were often overlooked. After closing that chapter, the organization shifted its work to caring for cats in their own homes.

Services

• In-home cat sitting: personalized care for cats at the client's home when the owner cannot be there.
• Feline safety: installation of outdoor safety netting so cats can enjoy fresh air while reducing hazards in their surroundings.

Experience and community

Gatuari brings ten years of experience in feline care and says more than 200 cats were adopted during its time operating the café. Its current work is supported by a community committed to cat welfare.
