Care rooted in a cooperative model

Suara Cooperativa is a nonprofit worker cooperative with a social mission, providing care and support services, with a particular focus on older adults. It has more than 40 years of experience and a workforce of more than 4,500. Its services range from in-home support to residential facilities and day centers.

Services

• Residential and day services: The cooperative manages residential facilities and day centers across Catalonia, including Primer de Maig in El Prat de Llobregat; Pla de Martís in Esponellà, Pla de l'Estany; Torreblanca in Sant Joan les Fonts, La Garrotxa; Font dels Capellans in Manresa; Dovela in Barcelona's Horta neighborhood; and Colònia Güell in Santa Coloma de Cervelló.
• In-home care: Personalized support for older adults at home, adapted to individual needs and routines. Services include help with daily activities, medical care, and assistive equipment.
• Remote services: Initiatives such as Casal TV aim to support physical, mental, and emotional health from home.
• Training and caregiver support: Suara runs Comunitat Aliura, a support group for caregivers, and offers care-related training and courses through its Campus.
