A multidisciplinary association focused on cancer

ACROSS is a scientific association founded in 1999 to promote oncology knowledge and research, encourage continuing education, and improve care and overall support for people with cancer and their families. It is registered with the Barcelona Associations Registry under number 22360, dated July 30, 1999.

The association brings together more than 100 members, including medical and surgical specialists, biologists, and pharmacists.

Scientific meetings

ACROSS holds regular scientific meetings, including the annual Mediterranean Arc Meeting. Its archive lists the 23rd meeting for October 24, 2025, focused on omitting surgery for some patients with cancer; the 22nd meeting, held October 4, 2024, on applying artificial intelligence to cancer diagnosis and treatment; and the 20th meeting, held September 30, 2022, on new uses of radiation oncology and nuclear medicine.

The association maintains an archive of its activities and a list of events it has endorsed.
