Associació de Dones Ca l'Aurèlia is a Barcelona-based nonprofit that has worked with and for women in the city and surrounding areas since 1998. Its work focuses on addressing gender-based violence and social inequality.

Services

The association’s “Comprehensive Support Against Gender-Based Violence” program offers psychological and legal support to women seeking to leave abusive situations and continue through recovery. It also runs a project called “Weaving Networks” and has a suggestion box for participants to share feedback.

The board consists of Maria Carmen García, president; Sara García, secretary; and Maria José Rodríguez, treasurer. The association combines professional staff and volunteers.
