Ventijol

Family and community support

Associació per a la Salut Familiar i Comunitària Ventijol is a nonprofit founded in 1994 that provides psychotherapy and social services to families in crisis. It was declared an organization of public benefit on October 6, 2015, and is listed in Spain's National Association Registry under number 142701.

Services and programs

Ventijol provides direct support to families individually and in groups and works on an ongoing basis with social services from public agencies and private institutions. Its main programs include:

• Family therapy and psychological therapy.
• Caixa Proinfància: individual or family psychotherapy and group workshops for children, teens, and their families.
• Specialized psychotherapy in the correctional-justice system.
• Siena: support for families facing relationship conflicts, crises caused by a lack of support, and family accompaniment needs.
• Prevención Ara: preventive guidance and social-education support for children and teens.
• Cruïlla: psychosocial intervention and community development.
• Viure a Casa.
• Projects for local governments, other organizations, and schools.

How to access services

Individuals and families can call +34 93 408 12 36 or email atencio@ventijol.cat. Organizations, schools, social services, primary-care centers, EAIA teams, and other services can refer a family using Ventijol's referral form and emailing it to atencio@ventijol.cat. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Applicants are asked to provide information documenting their financial situation; fees are set for appointments.
