About the foundation

Fundació Privada AFMA is a nonprofit organization based in Barcelona that works to support employment and social inclusion for people facing vulnerability or risk of social exclusion. Its work combines support programs, social-rent housing, and partnerships with businesses and social organizations.

Employment-integration company

In 2025, the foundation launched AFMA Inserció E.I., S.L., an employment-integration company incorporated on February 13, 2025. The foundation’s president, Jesús Lanao Clavera, is its sole administrator. On September 22, 2025, the Government of Catalonia approved its registration in the Administrative Registry of Employment-Integration Companies of Catalonia under number R0130. The company opened its bank account in December 2025 and began production in January 2026, with its first hires and invoices.

The company’s main line of work is designing and developing employment-integration pathways through the assembly of electromechanical components, a field with established demand. The work takes place in a workshop in Breda in collaboration with local industrial companies. The company currently has a staff of nine people who perform assembly work and receive individualized support, training, and skills-development plans.

Social housing

The foundation provides social-rent housing as part of its inclusion work.

Partnerships

It maintains agreements with several organizations, including Iwaky, Fundación la Caixa, Associació Sunday, Conreu Sereny SCCL, Fundació Manresa, Fundació Ared, Fundació Mambré, Fundació acidH, Fundació Migra Studium, Fundació Obra Mercedària, and Fundació Banc de Recursos.

Transparency

The organization publishes documents on its website, including its deed of incorporation and bylaws, as well as activity reports for 2024 and 2025.
