Projects addressing social challenges

Fundación Privada Nous Cims is a nonprofit organization that has been operating since 2015. It identifies social challenges that are not being addressed or could be improved, then develops innovative projects in three areas: employment, emotional well-being, and community development.

Areas of work

• Employment: Creating training opportunities and improving job access for young people facing social and economic vulnerability.
• Emotional well-being: Psychosocial, emotional, and relationship support for children and young people, as well as adults undergoing cancer treatment.
• Community development: Working with social organizations, local groups, and other change-makers in designated “Model Zones” to advance systemic change.

Approach

The foundation analyzes problems through continuous learning and unconventional thinking, then designs and tests pilot solutions. It uses monitoring and evaluation to assess impact empirically or scientifically. It also works with existing networks, strengthening them through training and the development of new resources and knowledge.
