Promoting diversity and addressing discrimination

Institut Diversitas is a Barcelona-based social cooperative that promotes diversity and works to combat discrimination. Its intersectional approach considers structural inequalities and dynamics of privilege and oppression. The organization has marked 10 years of activity and works with a team of collaborators.

Services

Institut Diversitas offers four main services: awareness programs, training, consulting, and applied research. Examples include workshops in schools that promote inclusion and address discrimination; online training on romantic, sexual, and gender diversity for inclusive workplaces; and consulting and assessments to help organizations incorporate equal treatment. Its applied research includes antiracist reviews of educational materials and the design of service-learning projects.
