Fundación España Salud

Health education and prevention

Fundación España Salud is a private nonprofit established in 2012 to improve health education and prevention. Its three areas of work are promoting healthy habits, sharing health-science knowledge, and research, with the stated goal of helping reduce the incidence of common diseases.

It is registered with the Directorate General for Law and Legal Entities under number 46804, dated December 23, 2012. Its work is governed by Catalonia's Law 4/2008 of the Civil Code and Organic Law 1/2002 regulating the right of association. Tax ID: G66097494.

Activities

The foundation organizes study sessions, seminars, publications, and research activities in health sciences, as well as educational programs for the public. It also promotes knowledge-sharing among its members.

Its work is supported by a multidisciplinary group of medical, health-care, technology, research, and management professionals. The foundation works with organizations in health care, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food, medical technology, and information and communications technology.

Recent activities and partnerships

• A Senate event on rare diseases organized by FES with support from HSJD and FEDER (March 2026).
• A Life Sciences Innovation lecture series at EY Barcelona's office, 102 Avinguda Sarrià, penthouse floor.
• A joint meeting of the foundation's Scientific and Economic Councils in Barcelona (July 2026).
• A cardiac-protection project at National Police facilities in the Principality of Asturias (July 2026).
• A session on criminal compliance and regulatory and tax compliance in health care, organized by EY with support from España Salud (May 2026).
• Recognition from the Spanish Red Cross for years of collaboration (June 2026).

The foundation appears in the “La Ciencia de la Salud” program (España Salud–TVE) and shares updates on Facebook and X.

Governance and offices

The foundation has a Scientific Council, an Economic Council, a scientific committee, and founding members. It lists two contact locations:
