Fundació La Roda is a Catalan cultural organization founded in 1977 to bring culture, language, and social programs to children and young people throughout Catalonia. Since August 1, 2023, it has been managed by Federació d'Ateneus de Catalunya (FAC), which appointed a new director and board of trustees to reposition the foundation as a leading organization in the sector.
Activities and projects
The foundation organizes and offers family and community programs, including:
- La Tamborinada
- Fem Festa, fem Barri
- Conviure amb l'Art
- Kamishibais: ponts de paper, paraules i tradicions catalanes
- Planeta dels Contes
- Reconnectem-nos, a joint project with Federació d'Ateneus
It also publishes a catalog of activities and performances that community organizations can use to plan family programs. The calendar lists traditional games at Poblenou's neighborhood festival on September 13, 2026, and at Les Corts' neighborhood festival on October 10, 2026, both in Barcelona.
