Support for people with cardiovascular conditions

Fundació CorAvant is a Catalan organization that supports people with heart conditions and other cardiovascular diseases, along with their families. It provides emotional support, practical guidance, and information throughout the course of an illness.

What the foundation offers

CorAvant offers support and guidance following a diagnosis or a change in health, help during periods of anxiety and distress, and preparation for surgery, catheterization, tests, and specialist appointments. It also provides information about rights, leave, and available resources; guidance on work and education; and opportunities for people with heart conditions to connect through online groups, workshops, and expert talks.

Locations across Catalonia

The foundation has five service locations in Catalonia. Its clinical psychologists also travel to referral hospitals with adult cardiology units.
