Educational and social support in three Barcelona neighborhoods

Fundació Privada Centre Educatiu i de Lleure (CEL) is a nonprofit based in Barcelona. Since 1997, it has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families facing hardship in Bon Pastor, La Sagrera, and Sant Andreu. Its work centers on educational and social support, with the goal of helping people develop and participate in society.

Programs

The foundation provides social and educational programs for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Its areas of work include:

Fundació CEL offers several ways for the community to take part: volunteering, internships, involvement by schools and businesses, one-time donations, and membership. The foundation describes itself as a “small big family” and invites people to join its social projects.
