About FAPCI Fundación de Ayuda y Promoción de las Culturas Indígenas
Supporting Indigenous cultures
Fundación de Ayuda y Promoción de las Culturas Indígenas (FAPCI) is a private nonprofit foundation focused on preserving, promoting, and supporting Indigenous cultures. It was established in Barcelona in 2004 during the Universal Forum of Cultures held in the city. Its headquarters are at 54 Via Laietana, Ciutat Vella, 08003 Barcelona.
Origins and background
The foundation's origins are connected to the work of its president and founder, Rosa Collelldevall Corominas. Beginning in 1985, she says her work in clairvoyance and spiritual healing introduced her to communities from different cultures and their ancestral knowledge. That experience led her to establish an organization focused on assistance, cooperation, and the preservation of Indigenous cultures.
In 2009, FAPCI received special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and is listed as a collaborator with the UN Human Rights Council. It is also a member of the organizing committee for the International Conference “For the Balance of the World,” sponsored by UNESCO and the José Martí International Program, and works with Cuba's Sociedad Cultural de Estudios Martianos.

Participation and funding
FAPCI is funded through donations, contributions from supporting members, and volunteer work. Supporters can join with an annual contribution of €250 or a semiannual contribution of €150, and additional donations are welcome. The foundation also organizes events, including the first FAPCI International Conference, “De Morir para Vivir,” with talks, meditation, rituals, and music.
