In 2020, together with EDIW Barcelona, the center launched the #donaunatabletounpc campaign to collect tablets and laptops for families with limited resources, in response to the digital divide highlighted by COVID-19 lockdowns. According to figures from the center, among the families it served, 82% had Wi-Fi access, only 40% had a computer, 10% had a tablet, and 34% had no device for keeping up with schoolwork.
The center’s WordPress page is no longer updated; current information is available at www.fundacioviarany.org.
