Fundación Exit

Helping young people stay in school and move into work

Fundación Exit is a nonprofit that has worked for more than 25 years to reduce early school leaving among young people at risk of social exclusion in Spain. Its programs connect the education and business communities through career guidance, dual education, and pathways into employment.

Programs

• Comprehensive Career Guidance: Four hands-on modules cover self-awareness, exploring the job market, trying out different professions, and making career decisions.
• School and Business: Students receive mentoring in programs that combine classroom learning with work experience at companies, with the aim of improving employability and access to jobs.
• Employment: The foundation connects young job seekers with openings at partner companies through Fundación “la Caixa”’s Incorpora program.

Reach and impact

Figures updated in August 2025 show the foundation working with a network of 1,115 companies, 14,170 young people, 588 schools and social organizations, and 8,364 corporate volunteers. The figures count unique participants.
