Representation and support for foundations

Coordinadora Catalana de Fundacions (CCF) is an umbrella organization for Catalonia's foundation sector. It represents and defends foundations' interests before public authorities and the wider community and brings together 814 member foundations. It has 40 years of experience advising foundations.

Services for members

• Specialized advice: legal, tax, accounting, and management guidance tailored to foundations. Members can request consultations by phone, email, or scheduled visit.
• Help starting a foundation: guidance on feasibility, requirements, and the steps involved in establishing a foundation.
• Training: courses, seminars, conferences, and workshops for people responsible for foundation management, with reduced fees for members. Programs include “Fundraising Basics,” “Legal Essentials for Foundations,” and “Good Governance for Foundations.”
• Communications: updates through “La Coordinadora Informa” and the monthly newsletter “La Coordinadora al día.”
• Foundation directory: a searchable resource with information about Catalan foundations.
• Observatori de Fundacions: a research and knowledge initiative that publishes reports, studies, and papers about the foundation sector.

Working groups

CCF organizes forums for foundations in the same field to discuss shared issues, build partnerships, and strengthen collaboration. Current groups focus on education, social services, technology and research, culture, health, and universities.
