Toraq Ortopedia is a Barcelona orthopedic store with more than 40 years of experience. It sells, manufactures, fits, and rents orthopedic products and has its own workshop for repairs and adjustments using original parts.

The company offers a wide range of standard and custom solutions based on each customer’s diagnosis or needs, including:

• Orthopedic products such as walkers, rollators, manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, patient lifts, adjustable beds, ramps, adaptive-sports products, spare parts, and accessories.
• Custom insoles following a gait assessment.
• Compression garments, girdles, braces, bodysuits, and adapted bras.
• Manufacture of orthoses, DAFOs, and braces.
• Orthopedic-equipment rentals for temporary recovery or trials before purchase.
• In-house repair and maintenance workshop.
• Home pickup, delivery, and installation in Barcelona.
• Installation of stair lifts and platform lifts.
• Car and van adaptations.
• Supply for residential care facilities and adult day centers.

Funding and Coverage

Toraq accepts PAO documents, a medical prescription for orthopedic assistance, and holds a health authorization for standard, adapted, and custom products, allowing it to bill the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut) directly. It also advises customers on applications and products covered by PUA grants from the Government of Catalonia, such as stair lifts, power wheelchairs, and scooters.
