TokyLabs
An educational robotics and STEM company behind Tokymaker, a web-based microcomputer platform for electronics, coding, sensors, IoT, and classroom projects.
About TokyLabs
Robotics and STEM for the Classroom
TokyLabs develops educational robotics products and resources. Its main product, Tokymaker, is a web-based microcomputer designed to help students and teachers build projects involving electronics, coding, sensors, the Internet of Things, augmented reality, computer vision, and artificial intelligence.
A Browser-Based Project Kit
Tokymaker works through a web interface without a cable connection or software installation, and is designed to run on Chromebooks, laptops, and mobile devices. Its block-based programming interface helps users build projects, while compatibility with Arduino and other analog sensors lets them connect components without a breadboard or loose wiring.
Courses and Open Projects
TokyLabs offers interactive courses with video, animation, text, and audio. Its educational materials cover sustainability, the Internet of Things, and robotics, including more than 80 hours of courses that the company says are available to schools at no cost.
The site also shares open resources for building robots for RoboRAVE competitions, along with downloadable projects and tutorials. In Spain, Tokymaker is distributed by FDos Software in Barcelona.
