Gran Teatre del Liceu is an opera house in Barcelona with a regular season of opera, dance, concerts, and recitals. Its work also includes lecture series, exhibitions, educational activities, social programs, and a digital season under the LiceuOPERA+ brand.
A season of classics and new work
The season brings together classic titles and new productions. Examples listed in its program include Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida and Requiem, the family production La jove Aïda, and concerts by outside promoters such as Hermanos Gutiérrez.
Subscriptions and group discounts
The theater offers subscription packages, including LiceuOPERA+, which brings together 13 operas for €60, as well as discounts for groups.

Services at the theater
At its venue, the Liceu offers dining, space rentals, a virtual tour, and a shop selling its own publications and merchandise, including a magazine about the creative process behind an opera and the book Em dic Liceu.
