An art foundation across three cities

Entrepreneur Francisco Daurella founded Fundación Fran Daurel in 1995 as a private nonprofit. It aims to promote art and expand the cultural offerings of the places where it works.

Exhibition spaces

The foundation displays works from its permanent collection, mounts temporary exhibitions, and organizes other cultural activities at three locations:

  • Barcelona: Avinguda Francesc Ferrer i Guardia 13, Poble Espanyol, 08038 Barcelona. Open daily, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; closed December 25–26 and January 1. Phone: 934 234 172.
  • Madrid: Calle Fuente del Rey 11, Aravaca, 28023 Madrid. Open Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; closed in August. Phone: 913 579 116.
  • Ventalló, Girona: Carrer Pou 11, 17473 Ventalló. From January 1 through March 31, open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4–6 p.m. Visits by appointment are available Wednesday and Thursday; closed Monday and Tuesday. Phones: 972 793 900 and 972 793 162.
