Clubs and culture in Sant Martí
Foment Martinenc is a Barcelona cultural and recreational association recognized with the Creu de Sant Jordi in 1995 and the City of Barcelona Medal of Honor in 2012. Its established sections cover theater, chess, hiking, billiards, Catalan folk dance, table tennis, gospel, activities for retirees, and an FC Barcelona supporters group.

Literature and neighborhood events
The association runs Catalan-language literary competitions, including Una mirada de gènere and the Certamen Literari de Relats del Barça. It also offers courses, workshops, exhibitions, a theater reading club, and screenings in the Cicle Gaudí. The Cursa Popular de Sant Martí race and spring festivities are among its community events.
