Unitecno Sistemas, S.L. is a family-owned company with nearly 30 years of experience in the industrial sector. It designs and manufactures custom filters and pressure vessels and specializes in distributing valves, filters, process equipment, and pressure vessels. Its solutions are intended for demanding operating conditions and technically complex requirements in plants and EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) projects.

The company serves engineering firms, EPC contractors, OEMs, technical managers, and end customers. Services range from custom project design to equipment production, technical inspections, quality control, and commissioning.

Technical Service

Unitecno provides multi-brand service for critical valves and filters, either on-site or in its workshop. Equipment includes turbine bypass valves (HP, IP, and LP), attemperators, main-steam isolation valves (MS), feedwater isolation valves (FW), feedwater control valves, automatic or leak-off minimum-flow recirculation valves, turbine-extraction check valves, economizer bypass valves, gas-turbine isolation valves, and optical and electronic level indicators.

Work may include basket repairs, screen replacement, basket rebuilding and reinforcement, improvements, fabrication of equivalent baskets, filter-body refurbishment and connection modifications, leak repair, hydrostatic testing and nondestructive testing, and repainting to specification.

For on-site work, the company uses service vehicles and workshop containers equipped with workbenches, lathes, and surface-grinding tables, along with portable EFCO equipment for valve machining and grinding. On-site service is available seven days a week, with night shifts on request. The company lists technical-service experience at nuclear and combined-cycle power plants, solar-thermal power plants, paper mills, and other facilities.

Spare-Parts Management

Unitecno specializes in industrial spare-parts management, including reverse-engineering specific components such as valve internals, shafts, and filter baskets. The company works with professionals familiar with brands that have changed ownership, helping customers locate parts.

• Control valves: ARCA REGLER, WELLAND & TUXHORN, and VALVE SOLUTION.

In partnership with JAES COMPANY, Unitecno also supports purchasing departments by consolidating suppliers and managing procurement and logistics. JAES COMPANY’s platform and offices in Italy, the United States, and Japan support global purchasing management and are intended to reduce costs and lead times.

In-House Manufacturing

Since 2017, Unitecno has manufactured products at its own plant in Barcelona province, in a region with a long industrial tradition. The company manages key project stages in-house: engineering and design, procurement and material sourcing, welding, machining, nondestructive testing (NDT), inspection and quality control, painting and protection, and packaging and logistics.

The company lists ISO 9001 and REPRO certifications and a certification from the boiler-making trade association.
