JEMI is a family-owned company founded in 1963 by Jesús Mora Mas, with roots going back to 1959, when it began manufacturing fryers. Based in Barcelona, it has become a leading manufacturer of commercial food-service equipment. Its two manufacturing plants in Barcelona province cover a combined 12,000 square meters. The company exports to more than 70 countries and has an extensive network of sales offices and technical service providers.

Main Products

JEMI designs and manufactures professional equipment for commercial kitchens in three main product lines:

• Commercial dishwashers: undercounter, hood-type, pot-washing, and conveyor machines, including rack-conveyor and flight-type models.
• Professional cooking equipment: modular ranges in 600, 750, 900, and 1000 series, with gas, electric, glass-ceramic, and induction options. Products include griddles, fry tops, fryers, grills, bain-maries, braising pans, tilting pans, woks, paella burners, ovens, and neutral cabinets. The company also offers custom-built and monoblock kitchens.
• Commercial fryers: countertop and cabinet models with single or double tanks, a cold zone, and temperature control.

The company also sells accessories and a custom-kitchen line under the name “morei.”

Its equipment is designed for restaurants, cafes and bars, hotels, food-service chains, hospitals and nursing homes, schools, catering companies, supermarkets, bakeries and pastry shops, butcher shops, industry, and sports institutions.

Milestones and Certifications

• 1969: Received a Winterhalter license to manufacture its undercounter machines in Barcelona.
• 1976: Began designing and manufacturing conveyor dishwashers.
• 1985: Opened new offices and a warehouse in Barcelona.
• 1989: Received TÜV Rheinland certification for its dishwashers.
• 2000: Opened its kitchen-equipment factory in Montcada i Reixach, Barcelona.
• 2007: Received NSF certification for its dishwashers and launched in the United States.
• 2011: Launched the ECO range and the EPS Energy Saving System.
• 2022: Launched the second generation of electronically controlled machines.
• 2025: Introduced a new corporate identity.
• 2026: A new undercounter line is scheduled to launch.
