The Wittmore Hotel is a boutique accommodation located in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, at 7 Carrer de Riudarenes, 7, 08002. With 22 rooms, the establishment is defined by its integration into the creative scene of the city and by a conception of luxury as an intangible and ephemeral experience. • Wittmore Suite: 55 m2, Super king-size bed, distributed in living room and bedroom; includes the Sobreatic Experience, which from 11 p.m. turns the rooftoptop into a private space for two people, accompanied by cava, fruit and chocolates.
• Club Suite: 60 m2.

The minibar is complimentary in all rooms. Exclusive services include evening turndown service, laundry and dry cleaning on request, and 24-hour room service. All rooms feature air conditioning, soundprooftoptoped windows, large wardrobes, connecting rooms available and a non-smoking policy. Connectivity includes phones, free high-speed Wi-Fi, international satellite television and Chromecast to play content from platforms such as Netflix or HBO. Amenities include a sofa, Marshall speakers, international plugs, safe, iron and ironing board on request. Bathrooms feature a bathtub, shower, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers.

Dining: Restaurant Contraban

The hotel houses the Contraban restaurant, whose proposal is inspired by the emotions of the creative process and signed by chef Alain Guiard, with a changing selection of local wines. The published schedule is as follows: breakfast from 8:00 to 13:00; brunch from 11:00 to 15:00; Anytime from 15:00 to 18:30; dinner from 18:30 to 22:30; bar from 13:00 to 24:00; room service from 11:00 to 22:30; and Anytime menu snacking from 12:00 to 22:30. The restaurant has specific menus, including a brunch menu and a Sant Jordi menu.

Spaces: vertical garden, patio and rooftoptop

The spaces of the hotel were designed by September Architecture and combine the intimate and playful with elegance. The living room houses stimulating readings; the patio has the one presented as the largest vertical garden in Barcelona, an oasis open to the sky with hours from 12:00 to 22:30; and the Sobreatic is a Mediterranean rooftoptop with views of the sea and the rooftoptops around the Basilica de la Mercé.

Groups and buyouts

The hotel presents itself as a specialist in group and buyout stays, with an environment for corporate meetings, launches, presentations or celebrations. A buyout offers exclusive access to all spaces, including the 22 rooms, for a personalized experience.

Art and collaborations

Wittmore Hotel collaborates with local artists and projects. Among the temporary collaborations are:

• Art Nou: Since 2023, the hotel has been associated with this emerging Barcelona and L'Hospitalet art festival to reward three artists and showcase a selection of their works. In 2026, the winners are Rose Madone, Jan Vallverdú and Roman Fabré.
• Projecte 360°: initiative of Dessislava Pirinchieva, founder of Splash, International Cultural Agency, which converts the vertical garden into an ephemeral exhibition hall. The second edition, MNEMÓSINE by Berta Blanca T. Ivanow, can be visited until 14/09/2026.
• Il·lacions Design Gallery: Displays the work Reflexions Micra by Antoni Arola, exhibited at the Contraban restaurant until the end of April.

The permanent collaborations include the floral artist Fátima Valldeperas, whose floral creations contribute character to the rooms; the bookshop Terranova, specializing in limited edition, which nourishes the library; Odd Kiosk, which monthly enriches the library with independent magazines of artists and designers; Conscious Botanist, with skin and hair care products made in Spain with vegetable ingredients and free of toxic ingredients ingredients, sulfates and silicones; and Sant Tomàs, a group of non-profit entities that promote social inclusion, present in the rooms with chocolate rocks and handmade potato crisps with plastic-free packaging.

Agenda and sustainability

The hotel agenda includes DJ music sessions in Disco and Soulful House style by resident DJs, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 20:00 to 23:00 h. In terms of sustainability, the hotel declares to work for the goal of carbon-neutral spaces, an innovative community and the absence of plastics and waste.
