About Borronets
Member-run organic food co-op
Borronets is an organic and responsible-consumption cooperative founded in 2015, building on the experience of the El Borró cooperative. It describes itself as member-run, with all members actively involved in its organization and day-to-day operation.
A different way to shop
The cooperative supports more thoughtful and sustainable consumption, built around local organic products purchased directly from producers without intermediaries. Members can place orders and put together baskets through its website.
Community and location
Borronets is part of Ateneu l'Harmonia, a member-run cultural and social space in the former Fabra i Coats factory in Barcelona’s Sant Andreu de Palomar neighborhood. Seventeen neighborhood families currently belong to the cooperative, which welcomes new members.
