Mundifres, S.A. was established in 1994 and processes and sells frozen seafood. In 2019, the company marked 25 years in the industry. Its selection combines imported products with its own processing for customers.

Facilities and Services

Mundifres is located at Mercabarna inside the Mercaeurofrio cold-storage facility, in which it holds a stake. The company has its own handling room, equipped with machinery and staffed by trained personnel. It processes its own products and provides contract processing for other companies. Its logistics and temperature-control services are supported by the cold-storage facility.

Products

Mundifres sells a wide range of frozen fish and seafood, including:

• Fish: mako shark cubes, swordfish cubes, skinned pelaya, jumbo cod loins, salmon steaks, peeled sole, hake steaks, and dogfish steaks.
• Cephalopods: wrapped squid, cleaned cuttlefish, cuttlefish cubes, and flying-squid tentacles.
• Crustaceans: crab bodies and claws, lobster tails, and prawn tails.
• Imported products: peeled shrimp, megrim fillets, John Dory, lemon sole fillets, and flying-squid tubes.
