About El Bròquil del Gòtic
Organic Food in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter
El Bròquil del Gòtic is a nonprofit consumer cooperative that has operated in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter since 2010. It buys local and organic products directly from producers to promote responsible consumption and strengthen ties between rural producers and the city.
How It Works
Members place orders online Wednesday through Sunday and pick them up and pay on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. There is no requirement to order every week. A €12 quarterly membership fee covers transportation and other small expenses. Members rotate through shared tasks, and the cooperative holds regular assemblies.
Products
The selection varies according to members' decisions and may include:
- Vegetables
- Fruit
- Honey
- Wine
- Olive oil

Location and Contact
Product distribution takes place at Gòtic La Negreta, a community space in a city-owned property made available to the neighborhood association and self-managed by participating groups. Address: 21 Nou de Sant Francesc, ground floor, 08002 Barcelona.
