About Coderch Acústica
Acoustics considered from the first plans
Coderch Acústica works at the point where architecture meets sound. Led by acoustic engineer Ana Batlle Coderch, the Barcelona practice says its team brings more than 15 years of experience to projects from early design through construction, as well as to noise problems discovered after a building is complete.
From room comfort to regulatory studies
Its work spans room conditioning and sound insulation, building-code documentation, acoustic impact studies, and the control of noise and vibration from building systems. The firm also carries out on-site measurements, follows construction work to check that acoustic solutions are installed as intended, and can design audio and video systems. For projects pursuing sustainability certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, or WELL, it addresses the acoustic criteria involved.
Work across different kinds of spaces
The company’s published portfolio includes cultural venues, housing, offices, and hotels. Examples include the Hotel Miiro Borneta in Barcelona, the Teatre-Auditori Municipal de Constantí, and CaixaForum Málaga. That range reflects a practice focused less on one building type than on how people experience sound inside it.
