What Factorial is

Factorial is a Barcelona business-management software company focused on human resources, finance and IT. Its platform brings time, payroll preparation, recruiting, talent and device administration into one system, reducing repetitive work for HR and operations teams.

Products and functions

The software is organized into several modules:

• Time management: leave, time tracking and shift planning.
• Talent management: performance reviews, recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, training, goals and OKRs, and a corporate reporting channel.
• Compensation and benefits: payroll preparation and review, tax-advantaged meal, child care, transportation and health-insurance benefits in Spain, electronic signatures, and an adviser-client portal.

AI and automation

Factorial has added artificial-intelligence features, including Factorial One, an HR agent designed to help generate reports and employee surveys and locate contracts or policies. The company presented its 2026 AI roadmap in its “Launches with the CEO” series.

Customers and market presence

The company says more than 16,000 organizations use Factorial. It markets packages by industry—including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, consulting, technology, communications and health care—and by role for HR leaders, executives and employees. A separate claim that 70% of Spanish companies use the product is not accompanied by a methodology in the source profile and is therefore not used as a market-share figure here.
