Continuing education at UPC

UPC School is the continuing education school of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), based in Barcelona. It offers more than 200 annual master’s, postgraduate, certificate, and university microcredential programs in architecture and the built environment; civil and industrial engineering; business management; sustainability and the environment; and information and communication technology.

Fields of study

• Architecture and the built environment: BIM, sustainable construction, digitalization, architectural design, urban planning, and smart mobility.
• Information technology and digital transformation: cybersecurity, cloud computing, data, AI and big data, programming, and video games.
• Engineering and advanced industry: product design, Industry 4.0, rail, industrial production, and robotics.
• Management: business and lean management, logistics, MBA, and project management.
• Sustainability and the energy transition: circular economy, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.
• Health technologies: optometry, occupational health, and workplace risk prevention.

Experience

Since 1994, UPC School reports having trained more than 130,000 professionals. It works with 426 companies, 1,222 instructors, and offers 176 activities each year.

Featured programs

Programs include executive education and specialized courses such as Deep Tech to Market, plus microcredentials in AI fundamentals, Agile Project Management, AI in construction, virtual production with Unreal Engine and LED displays, and UX for video games. UPC School also provides in-company training and business services, as well as a subsidized career-guidance program in digital transformation, construction and civil engineering, and green energy and sustainability.
