A neighborhood school built by its community
La Troca Sants is a community school for continuing education in Barcelona's Sants neighborhood. It is a place to meet and learn, open to young and adult residents of Sants, Badal, Hostafrancs, Font de la Guatlla, and La Bordeta.
The project grew out of a lack of public adult education in the area and limited access to basic-skills courses. Its community-led model gives local residents a role in shaping the school.
Continuing education
La Troca offers classes designed to help participants grow as independent, critical thinkers. Course options and schedules are available on the school's website.
