Engineering education at EUSS

Escola Universitària Salesiana de Sarrià (EUSS) is a university center affiliated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) that specializes in engineering education. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs and describes its practical approach as Engineering by doing.

Programs and teaching approach

EUSS offers university degrees in engineering and holds information sessions and open houses for prospective students. Its Engineering by doing program develops professional skills by combining applied engineering with hands-on classes.

Quality and graduate outcomes

According to the seventh graduate employment study by AQU Catalunya, the Agency for the Quality of the Catalan University System, EUSS has the highest graduate satisfaction scores in industrial technologies among Catalan universities.

Research and conferences

The school hosts international conferences. It has welcomed the 9th European Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM), with nearly 120 researchers and professionals from 42 countries, and the MBAcademy International Business Conference. Together with Institut Químic de Sarrià (IQS) – Universitat Ramon Llull, it is also developing a new research-based learning model.
