Cromogenia Units is a chemical company within Grupo Units, founded in 1942. It develops, manufactures, and sells specialty chemicals for a range of industries, drawing on more than 80 years of experience.

Divisions and product lines

The company organizes its work into several divisions:

For leather, the company promotes bio-based and eco-friendly products for more sustainable finishing. In textiles, it sells bio-based resins for printing, coating, and impregnation.

International operations

Cromogenia Units manufactures at six plants in Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and China. It also has sales subsidiaries in Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, the United States, Mexico, and China, and serves customers on every continent.

Research and sustainability

The company has a research, development, and innovation team focused on improving processes and products and developing cleaner, more environmentally responsible technologies. In 2022, for its 80th anniversary, it planted 80 trees as part of an effort to combat desertification.
