Kedu is a Barcelona-based technology consulting cooperative that helps businesses and social organizations meet their technology needs with free and open-source tools and resources. The cooperative describes itself as a young organization working with its own organizational and technology resources.

Everyone involved in a project is a member of Kedu, an arrangement intended to encourage strong participation. As part of the social economy, the cooperative also commits to sharing knowledge developed during projects with the wider community, when the client gives permission.

Location and community

Kedu is based at Can Jaumandreu, Barcelona’s municipal center for socioeconomic innovation, at 52 Carrer del Perú. It is part of Innobadora, an accelerator program within Barcelona Activa’s social-economy initiative, and belongs to the Federació de Cooperatives de Catalunya.
