Spasa BCN is the trade name of Servicios Profesionales Asociados, S.A., incorporated in 1977 and based in Barcelona. The firm offers coordinated audit, consulting, legal and tax advice, and business and asset valuation. For external audits and sworn account-audit work, it later established SPASA–Auditoría, registered with Spain’s Institute of Sworn Auditors under number 15.

• Audit and accounting: audit opinions on financial statements, group consolidation, preparation and updating of accounting manuals, accounting consulting, financial analysis, reviews and valuation audits, fraud investigation, and internal-control advice.
• Management consulting: organization and strategic planning, financial and investment plans, business outsourcing, small-business consulting, budget management, feasibility plans, information systems, cost accounting, capital and asset management, and new-project studies.
• Business and asset valuation: valuations for mergers, spin-offs, liquidation, or sales; valuation of tangible assets, intangibles, goodwill, inventory, and current assets and liabilities; and other valuations involving real-property rights, zoning rights, and estates.
• Legal and tax advice: corporate legal advice and civil or commercial matters, asset management, filings with national, regional, and municipal agencies, domestic and international tax planning, ongoing tax advice, government relations, technical support during tax inspections, tax returns, corporate restructuring, insolvency proceedings, and foreign investment in Spain.

Team

The professional team includes sworn auditors with degrees in business administration, commercial studies, and law; one team member holds a master’s degree in public-sector methods and procedures. The firm says each has more than 20 years of national and international audit or consulting experience. Staff members include economists, attorneys, business graduates, and financial analysts.
