Novaidea is a consulting firm specializing in public funding for innovation. With more than 20 years of experience, it helps companies identify, apply for, and document public grants for research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) projects, and manage related tax deductions. It works with companies of all sizes, tailoring proposals to their strategic goals and operating needs.

Services

• Project-based consulting: for companies with a defined idea, Novaidea identifies suitable regional, national, or European funding and manages the application process.
• Ongoing innovation consulting: establishing or strengthening an internal R&D&I structure, helping obtain the Innovative SME seal, and developing a long-term strategy.
• R&D&I tax deductions: helping companies recover part of their investment through corporate tax deductions and Social Security contribution incentives, including preparation of binding reports and submissions to the Tax Agency.

How it works

The process runs from identifying opportunities by reviewing a client’s activities, needs, and financial situation to designing the project and funding strategy, preparing and submitting technical and financial documents, and providing ongoing follow-up and grant justification, including in the event of an audit.

Leadership

The firm is led by its co-founders, Francesc Jordana Casajuana and Patricia López Quintana. Jordana holds a degree in economics and business administration from the University of Barcelona and has experience managing public grants for R&D and internationalization. López Quintana also holds a degree in economics and business administration from the University of Barcelona, along with a postgraduate degree and master’s in East Asian economics and business from UOC. She previously worked in public administration in the Department of Research and Universities.
