Cooperativa Etcèteres

Community work and social change

Cooperativa Etcèteres is a Barcelona-based social consulting cooperative and a member of Grup Cooperatiu ECOS. It works with people, teams, and organizations on community-led processes and initiatives aimed at social change.

Areas of work

• Community action: Supporting community processes and helping residents take part in shaping local projects.
• Collective economies: Helping organizations develop people-centered, feminist, collaborative, and constructive ways of working.
• Educational communities: Working with children and teenagers to change their surroundings in ways that reflect their own perspectives.
• Training: Sharing knowledge gained through work with community partners so they can strengthen their ability to influence society.

Projects in neighborhoods and across Catalonia

Its work has included a community assessment in Barcelona's La Sagrera neighborhood, helping launch a community kitchen at Sant Antoni Market, and the Refugis Climàtics project with Photovoice. Other initiatives include Camí Escolar, Espai Amic during European Mobility Week, and the Festival d’Economia Solidària de Catalunya (FESC). The cooperative has also developed its own equality plan with support from the Barcelona Provincial Council and facilitated Future Scenarios workshops.
