Autoocupació has spent 40 years supporting entrepreneurs and people looking to improve their professional prospects. Its work focuses on subsidized training, career guidance, mentoring, and advice for starting and growing businesses. It operates mainly in Catalonia, with a presence in the provinces of Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, and Tarragona.

Main services

• Subsidized training: courses fully funded by the Government of Catalonia and professional certificates in fields sought by employers.
• Entrepreneurship: expert guidance to validate business ideas and launch ventures. Services include the Llançadora program for young entrepreneurs, financing advice, tax, labor, and administrative support, and business-transfer services for buying or selling an operating company.
• Mentoring: a program with more than 1,000 volunteer mentors who provide personalized guidance to help business projects grow.
• Career guidance: personalized job-search support and a job board connecting people with employers across Catalonia.

• Impuls IA: a 97-hour, in-person artificial intelligence course in Barcelona for people with disabilities.
• Administrative operations for recording and processing data and documents: 440 hours, in person in Girona.
• Supply management and control: 450 hours, hybrid in Girona.
• Marketing and communications management: 890 hours, hybrid in Girona.
