MTM Shop

Custom car mats and trunk protection

MTM Shop is an online store specializing in custom-fit car floor mats and trunk liners. It is the e-commerce site of MTM Italy, an Italian company that describes itself as a market leader in car mats. While MTM primarily serves automakers, large-scale distributors, dealerships, and industry professionals, MTM Shop sells directly to consumers looking for a vehicle-specific product customized to their needs.

Floor mats and trunk protection

The catalog is organized into several product families. Velour mats come in TOP, PLUS, and ONE lines. The store also sells rubber mats, traditional mats, and 3D tray mats. Trunk options include a trunk tray, trunk protector, and protective liner. Accessories, doormats, and rugs for the home round out the catalog.

A configurator lets customers choose their vehicle's make and model. Available makes include Aiways, Aixam, Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, BYD, Chery, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroën, Cupra, Dacia, Dodge, DS, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Geely, Great Wall, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Iveco, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Lamborghini, Lancia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lotus, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes, MG, Mini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Polestar, Porsche, Renault, Seat, Škoda, Smart, Subaru, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo, among many others.

Customization and materials

Customers can add a logo, image, or wording and choose the mat's color and fabric. The website describes custom embroidery for car mats as a specialty. Velour mats are presented as nonslip and stable, designed not to bunch under the pedals, with materials intended for durability and driving comfort. Rubber mats are described as flexible, easy to clean, and suited to dust, mud, and snow.

Quality and manufacturing

MTM summarizes its quality standard in four rules. First, raised edges measuring 1 cm are intended to contain liquids and other substances and make cleanup easier. Second, a custom-fit trunk liner provides full trunk protection and is presented as suitable for transporting dogs or work tools. Third, the trunk tray is described as odor-resistant and easy to wash, particularly for people who travel with pets. Fourth, the TOP line offers customization options. The company says it has more than 30 years of experience in textiles and automotive products and handles the industrial process in-house, from mat production through cutting and packaging, using modern systems. It says in-house production and economies of scale help control costs and offer factory-direct pricing. The website identifies the products as Made in Italy.
