Home care with a community focus

Asisted is a nonprofit social service organization that has provided in-home assistance and comprehensive support since 1980 to older adults, people with disabilities or support needs, and their families. With more than 45 years of experience, it is part of the social services network of the Government of Catalonia, the Community of Madrid, and the Valencian Community.

Services

Care can be arranged for a one-time need or on an ongoing basis, from one hour a day to 24-hour coverage. The organization says it can respond within 24 hours. Its main areas of work are:

• Personal care: individualized companionship and practical care for people who are vulnerable, have support needs, or live with a disability.
• Support for family caregivers: help for people caring for a family member, including support with emotional strain and questions that arise in caregiving.
• Community connection: companionship for people experiencing unwanted loneliness, frailty, or isolation, helping them maintain social and neighborhood ties.

Asisted is an authorized provider of in-home assistance. It is listed in Catalonia's Register of Social Entities, Services, and Facilities under number S07169; in the Community of Madrid's register under numbers S8133 and S8134; and with the Government of Valencia under number 10677.
