What CRAL is

CRAL architecture + landscape is a Barcelona studio that treats architecture and landscape as parts of the same design problem. Its multidisciplinary work moves across programs and scales, from territorial planning to construction details, combining technical solutions with the craft and material character of each place.

Areas of work

The portfolio includes public spaces, gardens, housing and civic facilities in which natural systems and built form are developed together. Projects featured by the studio include:

• Biblioteca Square and Paseo Sarasate
• Offices in Poblenou and a technology office
• A garden on Carles III and the Farga gardens
• Dansa Square, Doctor Sabater Square and Josep Maria Carreras i Dexeus Square
• Housing in Arenys-Fastenrath, Meridiana and Hospitalet
• Climate islands, Urdanibia Square, the historic core of Òdena and Baró de Viver Square
• The exterior of Palau Sant Jordi, Sindalah, Vall de Cardós and the Bellisens Campus
