History and Production

The company began operating in 1935, making and repairing oak barrels for chemicals, wine, and spirits. In 1967, it became the first company in Spain to produce kraft fiber drums with metal rings and lever-lock closures for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In 1975, production moved to a 1,000-square-meter facility in Barberà del Vallès, and in 1980 the company became a corporation. It received its first UN approvals for transporting dangerous goods in 1982. The company later expanded by absorbing Envase Condal (2007) and acquiring Envases Caldes (2009) and Envases M-3 (2017).
