Technical specifications and testing

The standard gown meets the requirements of EN 13795-1:2020 for surgical gowns, section A-2. The manufacturer reports testing under the following standards:

• EN ISO 22610: resistance to wet bacterial penetration
• EN ISO 11737-1:2018: determination of the population of microorganisms on products
• EN ISO 9073-10:2004: linting in the dry state
• EN ISO 811: resistance to water penetration
• EN ISO 13938-1:2019: bursting strength under dry and wet conditions
• EN ISO 29073-3:1992: tensile strength and elongation at break under dry and wet conditions

The product specification sheet states that the gown must not be used in a surgical environment.
