Inclusive employment in Badalona

Can Cet is a special employment center established in Badalona in 1995. It began with a team of people with hearing and sensory disabilities and later expanded to include people with physical and intellectual disabilities and, more recently, people affected by mental health conditions. Its work combines professional services with employment inclusion for people with disabilities.

Services

The organization works in three main areas:

• Cleaning
• Landscaping, indoors and outdoors, and forestry work
• Support services, including building concierge services, access control, phone support, and document digitization

Can Cet also works in natural areas and public spaces and provides street furniture services. Its clients include small and midsize businesses, large companies, and public agencies.

Social mission and standards

Can Cet describes itself as an independent social enterprise that reinvests its profits in the organization. It was an early adopter of the Economy for the Common Good Balance Sheet and holds quality and environmental seals, an ethical and responsible management system, and a gender equality plan. It has signed the Diversity Charter and follows the United Nations Global Compact. The company also holds classifications documenting its technical, professional, and financial qualifications.
