Iberfruta is a European producer of processed fruit and vegetable ingredients for the food industry. Its products are used by makers of baby food, jams, baked goods, fruit juices, yogurt inclusions, and ice cream, among other products. The company has operated since 1991 and sells in nearly 80 countries, working mainly with fresh, seasonal produce.

Products and Process

Iberfruta organizes its work around the natural growing calendar for fruits and vegetables. Its range includes aseptic purées, pulps, pieces, and frozen products, including both purées and fruit pieces. Key ingredients include stone fruits, citrus, vegetables, berries, lemons, and figs.

Facilities and Capacity

• Azagra, Navarre: a plant with capacity for 90,000 tons, specializing in aseptic purées, pulps, and pieces.
• La Palma del Condado, Huelva: capacity to process 14,000 tons, specializing in frozen products—purées and pieces—primarily berries, lemons, and figs.
• Kenitra, Morocco: capacity to process more than 5,000 tons of finished product, primarily frozen berries.

Company History

The company was founded in 1991. It opened its Azagra plant in 1995, its Huelva plant in 1997, and its Morocco plant in 1999. In 2011, it added an aseptic purée production line in Azagra, and in 2014 it acquired 17,000 square meters of land in the same town. Solar panels were installed at the Azagra and Huelva facilities in 2020.
