Fertisac, S.L. is an Andalusian company that makes and sells solid and liquid fertilizers for agricultural and horticultural crops. Its plant is in Atarfe, Granada. The company describes itself as the only fertilizer factory in eastern Andalusia and along the Levante coast, and as one of very few in Europe to granulate complex fertilizers based on potassium nitrate.

The company says it has a century of experience in the industry and follows agronomic principles, aiming to match fertilizer nutrients to each crop’s needs and growing stage.

The company’s research and development department collaborates with organizations such as the University of Granada to develop more efficient and environmentally responsible agricultural products. It also says it is working on soil carbon storage in line with the European 4 per 1,000 initiative.

Its management system is certified to UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 (quality), 14001:2015 (environment), and 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety).
