Quimibérica S.A. is a family-owned company founded in 1960 by Antonio Jáuregui. It designs, manufactures, packages, and sells lubricants, antifreeze, tubes, and auxiliary chemical products for the automotive and industrial sectors. It operates under the Brooks brand and has a plant in La Rioja, Spain.

Products and Applications

The company makes more than 200 products in four main categories:

• Automotive: additives, antifreeze and coolant, ATF power-steering fluid, brake and clutch fluid, lubricants for passenger-car and truck engines and two- and four-stroke engines, auxiliary products, and gear oils.
• Agriculture and public works: lubricants for agricultural and construction equipment.
• Industrial machinery: chainsaw-chain oil, hydraulic oils, industrial oils and products, and greases.
• Gardening: products for chainsaws, lawn mowers, and other garden equipment.

The company recently launched a premium motocross lubricant line and an SAE 0W-20 Synthetic VW product.

Production and Certifications

Quimibérica operates its own packaging line for lubricant tubes under one liter, a capability held by few companies in the industry. It was the first company in Spain to manufacture antifreeze for closed-loop systems. SGS has certified its management systems to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. The company maintains traceability and conducts analysis throughout production.
