About Lanzarote Superyacht Destination

Lanzarote Superyacht Destination is a tourism initiative promoting Lanzarote in the Canary Islands to the superyacht community. Tourism Lanzarote created the brand with the island’s three marinas as partners: Marina Lanzarote, Marina Puerto Calero, and Marina Rubicón.

Marinas and yacht services

  • Marina Lanzarote in Arrecife
  • Marina Puerto Calero
  • Marina Rubicón in Playa Blanca

The destination’s official website lists 1,368 berths across the three marinas, including 34 designated superyacht berths, and says the island can accommodate yachts up to 110 meters long for short- and long-term stays, refits, and repairs. All three marinas list fueling, shipyard services, restaurants and bars, and 24-hour concierge service. Calero Marinas describes its facility as the Canary Islands’ first superyacht refit and repair service.

Support for visiting crews

The initiative’s website provides information about customs, tax incentives, provisioning, and bringing a yacht to Lanzarote, as well as concierge support. It also highlights island experiences such as wine tourism, windsurfing and kitesurfing, local dining, and international shops within the marinas.

The island setting

The website presents Lanzarote as a sustainable destination and notes that UNESCO recognized the entire island as a Biosphere Reserve. Its mild climate is promoted as suitable for year-round boating.
