Karpay S.A. is a Spanish family-owned company that has made self-adhesive labels for products and packaging since 1984. It uses advanced printing technology and works with more than 250 manufacturers in sectors including pharmaceuticals, wine, chemicals, cosmetics, and beverages. The founder and the second generation of the family currently share leadership.

Production capabilities

The factory can produce labels ranging from the smallest sizes to larger formats. Printing methods include flexography, offset, letterpress, digital printing, screen printing, and combination labels. Materials include paper, PP, PE, PET, and laminates. Karpay can print up to nine colors in-line and combine decorative techniques and finishes.

Certifications and recognition

The company says it holds certifications covering quality, environmental management, FSC, health and safety, corporate information security, sustainable purchasing, and ethical conduct and supplier codes. It has also received public grants: one from the Directorate General for Economy and Industry of the Community of Madrid’s Department of Economy, Finance, and Employment for infrastructure and equipment investment (2025 funding year, covering 75% of eligible expenses); and another from the European Union’s Next Generation funds under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan for a 2023 Connected Industry 4.0 research and development project. That project focuses on real-time production monitoring and improved quality control using sensors and software.
