About Curvados Comendador

Cold bending and metal fabrication

Curvados Comendador is based in Arganda del Rey, Madrid, and specializes in cold bending tubes, sheet metal, and metal profiles. It works with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, composite materials, and titanium. The company traces its roots to the late 1970s, when José Comendador opened a locksmith shop in Chinchón and began making curved structures for chairs and armchairs.

Services and capabilities

The company bends tubes, profiles, sheet metal, and flat bars and also performs artistic metal bending. Its equipment handles both small and large work. It recently added a FACCIN bending machine capable of bending IPE, HEA, HEB, and UPN beams up to 600 mm, as well as pipe up to 16 inches. Tooling for pipe 12 inches and larger is in development.

The current facility at 7 Calle Sierra de Gredos in El Olivar Industrial Park covers 2,500 square meters. It has four overhead cranes rated at 10 tons each, along with a range of bending machines and auxiliary equipment.
